Leaders from the corporate sector, academia, civil society and the media exchanged ideas about the treatment of workers in developing countries. As outsourcing of labor-intensive production from rich to developing countries grows, controversy also grows over how best to ensure that employees are treated with respect and dignity, and receive a fair and reasonable wage for their labor.
